You’ll stay at our cozy and homely B&B in the heart of the national landscape. Every season offers its own magic: snow-covered forests, bright summer nights, autumn colors, or the fresh awakening of spring.

We guide you to Koli’s legendary viewpoints, share stories of local history and folklore.

Evenings are for soft unwinding: private sauna, evening by the fire preparing an evening snack by the fire, peaceful surroundings and time to feel nature with all your senses..

Kolin Runo is a cozy bed and breakfast near Koli National Park and the village of Koli (about a 2.5 km walk). Three guest rooms with shared facilities are located on the second floor. We also offer guided outings and are happy to host you during your stay.

Traffic connections

Only a 500-metre walk from the nearest bus stop. Public transport connections from Joensuu to Koli can be found on Matkahuolto (timetables and tickets). There are usually two connections on weekdays, with some seasonal variation. Please contact us if you need help finding a suitable connection.

Driving instructions

If you arrive by car, the easiest route is via Ahmovaara. From the village of Koli, drive towards Ylä-Koli and turn right towards “Harivaara.” We are located about 500 metres along the road on the right-hand side. By bicycle, any route will do fine.
